Digital edition getting started
- Download Chasing Silver app from your appstore, either Apple Appstore or Google Play Store
- Tap the “Account” icon on the bottom right
- Tap “Don’t have an account yet? Sign Up”
- Fill in your details and confirm
- Login
- Now you’re ready to buy individual editions or subscribe
- If you ever have any problems with your purchases, reach out to our customer support and mention you email address that you used to sign up
Digital edition FAQ
- Missing purchased editions or subscription is not available
- Tap “Restore Purchases” from the navigation menu, that usually does the trick.
- Can’t login to my app account
- You can reset you password by tapping “Forgot Password?” in the “Account” view. The account in the app is separate to for example the account in Chasing Silver web site and online shop. It’s also not mandatory for the app to function, but it can be helpful in different occasions.
- How can I transfer my purchases from iOS to Android or vice versa?
- First, you need to have an account in the app. If not, create one in the device from which you have originally purchased your editions. Then login with the same account to the new device and tap “Restore Purchases” from the navigation menu.
Switching paper copy subscription to digital
Paper copy subscription is a separate product to digital edition. The two can’t currently be combined (except by buying both separately) or exchanged, instead if you currently subscribe to paper copies you need to cancel that first and then subscribe separately to digital. Note that when cancelling paper copy subscription it will continue to run until the next renewal date and then stop. If you want to switch, follow the steps outlined below.
Cancelling paper copy subscription
- Login to My Account page at https://chasingsilvermagazine.com/my-account/
- Locate Subscriptions from the left
- Click View button next to the subscription you want to cancel, which opens a view to see subscription details
- From Actions in this view select Cancel
- Note! You can anytime send us email to support@chasingsilvermagazine.com and we’ll to the cancellation on your behalf.
Subscribing to digital edition
- If you have iPhone or iPad download our app from Apple Appstore (publisher Low-High Media Oy)
- If you have Android phone or tablet download our app from Google Play store (publisher Low-High Media Oy)
- At this point it’s advised, but not mandatory, to create an account to the app by tapping Account icon on the bottom right corner and filling in the details
- After that tap Subscribe a button right below the heading, choose the plan (we have just one) and follow the checkout process
- That’s it! Sometimes you may need to tap Restore Purchases from the navigation menu to refresh your purchases. If you face any issues, send email to support@chasingsilvermagazine.com.
Managing and cancelling digital edition subscription
All sales in our app is managed by the store i.e. either by Apple or Google. For this reason also the management (like for example cancelling your digital subscription) is managed by either Apple or Google.
